    Model Overview
The printing range is wide, producing vibrant colors, rich ink, strong three-dimensionality, and high opacity. It can print on single-sheet materials such as paper (gold and silver cardboard, transfer paper, whiteboard paper), corrugated paper, plastic sheets, and integrated ceiling PS plates with thicknesses ranging from 120g/m² to 1200g/m², including both monochrome and multi-color printing. It can also perform spot UV varnishing on printed materials. While meeting the screen printing needs of various inks and papers, this machine is particularly ideal for the overprinting of gold and silver colors in UV imitation metallic inks. Its main applications include decal printing for trademarks on ceramics, glass, enamelware, bicycles, sewing machines, furniture, lacquerware, and sporting goods. It is also suitable for printing on flexible paper boxes, cartons, promotional packaging, and for spot gluing and window decoration on gift boxes and other paper products, exceeding the requirements of other types of printing machines.

Difference from Drum-Type Fully Automatic Screen Printing Machine
Paper Feeding Transmission Method: The drum-type fully automatic screen printing machine uses a drum biting method to drive the synchronous reciprocating movement of the paper feeding and the screen to complete printing, with the same screen size.

This machine is a flat screen printing machine with a chain-driven toothed feeding method. It is combined with the screen printing division to complete printing. The feeding and printing speed, as well as the size stroke, are independently adjusted in a split type. The size screen printing is unlimited within the maximum specifications, saving unnecessary costs for automated printing machines. Plate installation and alignment are convenient, and the size adjustment of the printing stroke is similar to the semi-automatic screen printing machine installation method — simply adjust the alignment of the screen printing directly.
    Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
    Q
What types of materials can the SP-1080A flat screen printing machine handle?
The SP-1080A can print on a wide variety of single-sheet materials, including gold and silver cardboard, transfer paper, whiteboard paper, corrugated paper, plastic sheets, and integrated ceiling PS plates. It accommodates material thicknesses ranging from 120g/m² to 1200g/m², as well as rigid materials up to 5mm thick, making it highly versatile for both monochrome and multi-color printing applications.
    Q
How many servo motors does the SP-1080A use, and what do they control?
The SP-1080A is equipped with 9 servo motors in total. They independently control the feeder, feeding belt, side pull lay gauge, gripper, screen printing head (2 motors), flat bed, paper output belt, and paper stopper. This full-servo design ensures high precision, consistent performance, and smooth automation throughout the entire printing process.
    Q
What is the maximum printing speed of the SP-1080A?
The SP-1080A can achieve a maximum printing speed of 1,000 to 3,000 sheets per hour, depending on the print stroke setting. For example, with a 300mm stroke, the machine operates within this speed range. The printing speed and stroke size are independently adjustable, giving operators full flexibility to balance quality and productivity.
    Q
What is the key difference between the SP-1080A flat plate machine and a drum-type screen printing machine?
The drum-type machine uses a drum biting method where paper feeding and screen movement are synchronized, meaning the screen size is fixed. The SP-1080A uses a chain-driven toothed flat-bed feeding system where feeding speed and printing stroke are independently adjusted. This allows screen printing of any size within the maximum specifications without unnecessary costs, and makes plate alignment and stroke adjustment much simpler — similar to semi-automatic screen printing machine operation.
    Q
Can the SP-1080A be integrated with other production line equipment?
Yes. The SP-1080A is designed to connect seamlessly with a wide range of downstream equipment, including UV curing machines, infrared drying machines, paper rack dryers, cold ironing machines, and powder spreaders. This flexibility allows it to serve as the core unit of a fully automated printing production line, significantly improving efficiency and output quality.
    Q
What industries and applications is the SP-1080A best suited for?
The SP-1080A is ideal for a broad range of industries. It is widely used for decal printing on ceramics, glass, enamelware, bicycles, sewing machines, furniture, lacquerware, and sporting goods. It is also highly suited for printing flexible paper boxes, cartons, promotional packaging, and for spot gluing and window decoration on gift boxes. Its UV imitation metallic ink overprinting capability makes it especially popular for gold and silver color applications.
